The Norwegian Prima experience will feel like that of a boutique luxury hotel—personalized, private and pampering. There will be 35 percent more staff on board than any other ship at its level—this ends up being one crew member for every two guests. The capacity for 3,215 passengers at double capacity is small considering the size of the ship (a whopping 965 feet long and 142,500 gross tons). This allows room for an extended outdoor deck space larger than any new build cruise ship. A large variety of suite categories with 24/7 butler availability will be available, but rooms at every level have been enhanced. Standard staterooms, for example, have the largest bathrooms and more shower space than ever before in that category.
